Description Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master for a technical development program supporting the Sponsoru2019s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. Leidos is looking for a Scrum Master to join a high performing agile team in support of a nationally significant and fast-paced program. Primary Responsibilities + Facilitating self-organizing teams to ensure each team is making progress against sprint commitments + Protects teams from scope creep during execution of the sprint + Removes impediments for the team + Helps members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate + Supports and enforces Scrum process and other rules + Ensures that the team has a clear understanding of Definition of Done and how to meet it + Coordinates with other teams on the contract and communicates status to Management + Works with the Product Owner(s) to review and prioritize features + Leads and facilitates Agile ceremonies to include sprint planning, sprint review, demos, and sprint retrospective + Works with teams to develop user stories to meet the Feature acceptance criteria and requirements + Works with the team to help gather and refine requirements + Maintains and generates information radiators for the teams + Collects and shares team metrics with the team, determines when new metrics are needed, and develops improvements in metrics + Works with the team to develop and adhere to best agile practices + Works with the team to develop collaborative tools and dashboards to help monitor metrics + Supports the team during UAT and Integration testing as needed prior to deployments + Works with the team in planning and ensuring the release process is properly planned and executed + Coachesu2019 teams on agile and scrum principles with a goal of continuous improvement + Creates a fun sharing and learning environment, experimenting with various ideas to improve delivery including pair-programming and cross-functional training Required Qualifications + Active TS/SCI with Polygraph + Typically requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant. Additional experience in lieu of degree. + Experience in working as a Scrum Master or Team Lead for a software development or similar technical team + Experience using agile project management tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne) + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and time management Desired Qualifications + Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP) FIP If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
