Gymnastics Instructor

JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for energetic, fun, motivated, andkid-loving people to instruct students in our developmental gymnasticsprogram. As an instructor, you will safely lead participants throughengaging classes and assisting with Team practices and competitionswhile developing participant's confidence, skills, and abilities. Thegymnastic Instructor is a part time (up to 18 hours/week) positionpaying $18.00/hour. SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE: The GymnasticsInstructor will instruct gymnastics, tumbling, and/or cheer classes andcamps in a safe, positive, educational and fun environment. Participates in structured activities withthe children; observes and assists participants in acquiring new skills.Provides safe and effective spotting skills as appropriate for class (toinclude various skills such as forward/backward rolls, vaulting, beam,handsprings, etc.) and maintains a safe environment for programparticipants. Prepares gymnastics area for daily activities and cleansup at end of the day. Checks equipment for safety and reports any safetyissues to supervisor immediately.
