Job Description: KI, a worldclass supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions forbusiness, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking afull-time Shear Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility onour 3rd shift. 3rd shift individuals receive an hourly shiftdifferential of $3.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within thefirst year of employment. To learn more about KI, please visitJob Duties: The shear operator is responsible for setting upthe Haven Shear and End Finisher as well as making adjustments to ensureaccurate product is being produced.The position is also responsible for:Complete daily, safety inspections of the shear and end finisher Cut thecorrect materials according to the shop orders Change blades asnecessary Change and adjust machines based on tubing diameter and lengthTransport bundles of steel tubing utilizing a hoist system. Performmultiple tasks to ISO Quality Standards Maintain a clean and safe workenvironment Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred Value Added Skills: Mechanically inclined with previousmanufacturing experience, but not required Communication skills Computerknowledge Willingness to learn Must be able to take measurements byusing the decimal system Ability to read KI print will be usefulPhysical Requirements: Working in areas where it can get warm Working ina smoke free environment Activities including standing, walking,lifting, twisting and bending Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
