This is an opportunity to drive high-impactsite, roadway, and other design projects while shaping the future of ourmunicipal team in our Appleton office. Our ideal candidate will have 10+years of experience in municipal engineering, possess a strongbackground in project management and team leadership, and have theability to build long-lasting relationships with Clients. RequirementsPartner with leadership to develop and enact a comprehensive strategicplan, focusing on short- and long-term growth. Lead service-specificproposal efforts, providing technical expertise and driving innovationin our project approaches. Manage the design and delivery ofmultidiscipline projects in a profitable manner. Staff development andmentoring Supervise the work of engineers and/or technical supportpersonnel assigned to the project Develop project work plans and budgetprojections and effectively deploy resources Stay ahead of industrytrends, leveraging this insight to enhance our service offerings andproject delivery methods. Implement and uphold high standards for ourwork products, from design standards to project reports, ensuringquality and consistency across the board. Review, interpret and act onbusiness metrics, including utilization, backlog, work in process andaccounts receivable Prepare, maintain and coordinate schedules ofmultiple concurrent projects Develop and track milestones to ensureon-time and on-budget delivery Coordinate with government agencies,utility providers or other outside agencies Build relationshipsinternally and externally with clients and strategic partners RequiredExperience: Exceptional communication skills, capable of engagingeffectively at all organizational levels. Proficient in Microsoft Officeapplications Ability to manage staff and direct resources effectivelyProven track record in operations, business development, and technicalproject management within the municipal sector. Experience developingand implementing marketing pursuit strategies Ability to coach andmotivate others Experience with municipal design, road design, andmodeling of water, sanitary sewer and storm water systems BS in CivilEngineering Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in WI (and beeligible for multi-state licensure) 10+ years of progressive experiencein municipal engineering and project management About WestwoodProfessional Services, Inc.
