This position will be expected to work Monday-Thursday (10 hour days). This role is considered safety sensitive. What you will do: u00b7 Read blueprints and drawings and align components using tape measures, squares, clamps & etc. to plan layout welding procedure for each project. u00b7 Set up components for welding according to unit/project specifications and determine appropriate welding equipment, welding method and order of welding work based on project requirements. u00b7 Operate and maintain electrical and hand tools equipment (Including saws, squares, grinders & etc.). u00b7 Maintain a high level of workplace organization and maintain equipment for a clean safe work environment. u00b7 Work as needed for each project in MIG, TIG or in both MIG & TIG welding. u00b7 Perform any welding related functions as required. u00b7 Leverage basic math skills. u00b7 Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area. u00b7 Work collaboratively in a team environment. u00b7 Take pride in your work. What you will bring: u00b7 High School Diploma or equivalent. u00b7 Demonstrable proficiency as a Welder with at least two (2) years of welding-related experience. u00b7 MIG & TIG welding (aluminum) experience required. u00b7 Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Physical requirements for this role: u00b7 Ability to stand and walk continuously. u00b7 Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently. u00b7 Ability to operate hand tools and welding equipment continuously. u00b7 Ability to work at chest and waist level continuously. u00b7 Ability to stretch body to reach above the shoulder and bend body to floor level occasionally. u00b7 Ability to use arms to reach above the shoulder and to reach to the floor level occasionally. u00b7 Ability to use legs to climb ladders up to 5 feet occasionally. u00b7 Ability to be around moving machinery and equipment continuously. Compensation: Base Pay Range: $24.70/hr - $30.71/hr. Base hourly rate is determined at time of interview skills assessment. Demonstration of specific skill delineators will add to base rate to determine rate of hire for the applicant. This is a skills-driven position with hourly rate determined by matrix driven skills assessment at time of interview. _Disclaimer:_ This base pay range is based on US national averages.
