A typical day may include:u2022 Inspecting plant material and identifying pests, diseases, or other concernsu2022 Selecting and applying the most appropriate treatments to promote plant healthu2022 Preparing written diagnostic reports and educating clients about their landscapeu2022 Operating spray and application equipment safely and effectivelyu2022 Working independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfactionThis role is ideal for someone who loves problem-solving, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in protecting and enhancing the natural environment.About YouYou are passionate about plants, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within the field of plant health care. You bring:u2022 A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass-or related experience (preferred)u2022 The ability to work independently with responsibility and careu2022 Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectivelyu2022 Willingness to learn plant/tree identification and safe equipment useu2022 Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licensesu2022 Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.u2022 A valid driver's license with the ability to operate service-line vehiclesAbout SavATreeSavATree was founded 45 years ago with a mission to preserve trees threatened by the gypsy moth epidemic.
