Check below for current openings.HopeNet takes mental health seriously for our clients and our staff.HopeNet operates under a 4-day work week (Mon.-Thur.) and is closed onFridays as well as weekends. Our therapists are not on-call.DESCRIPTIONHopeNet mental health licensed therapists provide counseling foremotional healing regulated by the Behavioral Science Regulatory Boardof the state of Kansas.POSITION GOALTherapists clinically evaluate and provide therapeutic services toclients and their families in accordance with agency vision and missionutilizing clinical modalities designed to get to the root cause ofdysfunctional cyclical behavior, provide opportunity for emotionalhealing and incorporate effective coping strategies for lifelongwellness.REPORTS TO: Counseling Program SupervisorRESPONSIBILITIES1. Counseling Services 1. Provide direct therapeutic services for short, moderate and long term chronic cases 2. Clinically evaluate; select and implement appropriate multidimensional assessment, intervention and evaluation tools 3. Establish and implement client treatment plan 4. Increase client crisis management skill and identify sustainable change 5. Provide quality client care from crisis to exit 6. Provide professional therapeutic services for severe trauma, high risk or at risk cases as needed 7. Provide services conducive to the respect for the familys dignity and uphold relational values as demonstrated by Jesus Christ 8. Apply knowledge and use rationale to critically select relevant theories, assessments and diagnostic tools for a holistic view as appropriate 9. Provide clinical intervention and therapeutic services conducive to the respect for the familys dignity 10. Identify and promote client self-determination and strive to meet treatment goals with client personal competency 11. Provide referrals and coordination of services with outside agencies to ensure comprehensive and appropriate services 12. Complete casework file notes and case management per agency protocol 13. Meet or exceed client case load Direct Contact per employment offer and/or employment agreement 14. Effectively communicate professional judgments to supervisor and other professional staff in verbal and written formats 15. Execute process for safety and security of clientele and staff according to agency protocol 16. Submit requirements established by Managed Care Organizations (MCO) while implementing MCO regulations in collaboration with staff 2. Team Collaboration & Community Awareness 1. Effectively communicate with staff in verbal and written forms 2. Participate in weekly team/staff meetings 3. Provide progress updates & report on cases in recurrent meetings with supervisor 4. Participate in weekly peer supervision group and individual clinical supervision. 5. Collaborate with coaching and counseling staff to develop, evaluate and implement collaborative strategies for client care and organizational effectiveness 6. Represent HopeNet as licensed professional expert at committee meetings, fundraising and networking events 7. Other duties as assigned 3. Mission & Ethics 1.
