JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Job purpose for Lead Teller position: TheLead Teller position is a leadership role in the branch that directs thedaily administrative and operational functions of the teller area,including dotted line supervision of the teller staff. This includestraining staff on operations, ensuring adherence to policies andprocedures, making judgement decisions related the customer transactionsand interactions, and coaching to quality conversations that lead toreferrals to solve for our customer's needs. The Lead Teller leads byexample in maintaining and deepening customer relationships, providingsuperior customer service and referring bank products and services. TheLead Teller is responsible for the operational integrity of the branch,along with the Community President and/or Assistant Manager of theBranch and may be called upon as the acting manager in the absence of aCommunity President, in offices without Assistant Managers. Duties andresponsibilities for Lead Teller position: Effectively process customertransactions with a high level of integrity, accuracy and knowledge,while operating in full compliance with internal policies/procedures, aswell as applicable regulations/laws. Build and maintain customerrelationships by providing an unparalleled customer experience as setforth in WSB's Mission and identifying customer needs, promotingcurrent promotional offers and referring customer to Bankers and otherlines of business (i.e., Residential Lending, Business Banking,Commercial Real Estate, WIS and Merchant Services) for furtherassistance with bank products and services. Lead by example by meetingor exceeding performance metrics including, but not limited to customerexperience, referrals, and operations. Assist Branch Management inmaintaining and deepening retail banking relationships throughrelationship building calls and activities to meet sales and branchgrowth goals. Assist Branch Management with administrative andoperational processes, activities and workflow procedures for thefront-line staff, ensuring all customers are assisted promptly,professionally, accurately and appropriately. Acts as primary source forteller questions and assist Branch Management with the training anddevelopment of employees. Maintain knowledge of WSB's core processingsystem, WSB products and services, WSB policies and procedures, andregulatory requirements governing retail deposit accounts. Answercustomer questions and resolve related account issues, including phoneand in-person. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications for Lead Tellerposition: Experience Required: 1-2 years of cash handling and customerservice experience Required: 1 year of lead/supervisor experience and/or6 months branch banking experience Preferred: 2-3 years oflead/supervisor experience and1 year branch banking...
