As part of our team, your opportunities are limitless.ResponsibilitiesMasTec Communications Groupis seeking a full-time Fielder in support of a large-scale Telecommunications addition, you will:Fielder will complete site visits within the given marketTake legible field notes for the design of construction drawings in aerial, buried, underground, and building applicationsAnalyze work site and design requests, then determine the scope of work to be completedDeliver projects within timeline and ensure quality of work completedPay attention to detail and communicate any concerns or updates with the OSP DesignerInteract with internal and external customers, representing MasTec and our client in a professional mannerAdhere to all company safety practices and policiesQualificationsAbout You:Understanding of Telecom, Fiber, and Outside Plant preferred, but not requiredRelevant experience with utilities, cabling, or construction, is also consideredExcellent communication for daily interaction with various teamsAbove-average penmanship for hand-drawn field notesHigh school diploma and completed courses from technical school or community college preferred, but not requiredMust be authorized to work in the U.SHaving a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation, is requiredWilling to be trained and adapt to changing industry trends; continue education for Engineering design and best practicesWork schedule to match the hours of our customers and meet deadlinesRequires outdoor site visits in various weather conditions, plus remote work availabilityDress appropriately and meet safety standards while on-siteCompensation of $23-$32 per hour, depending on the experience.Financial Security401(k) with company matchEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Life insuranceShort-term and Long-term disabilityHealth and WellnessMedical, dental,and vision insuranceDependent care and medical flexible spending accountsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Work/Life BalancePaid time offPaid holidaysFamily and medical leavePaid sick timeWe meet your commitment with competitive pay and benefits.
