POSITION: Security InvestigatorSCHEDULE: Full TimeLOCATION: Reno, NVSALARY: 55,000 - $60,000TO APPLY:Direct Link -Page -note, employers may close jobs on the website at any time.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a track record of performing each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Be able to sit for long periods of time and work in mid-level to low light. Minimum 2 yrs. prior law enforcement or investigative experience required.Preferred experience: Previous experience and knowledge of Mirasys video surveillance system and I-Trak or equivalent systems preferred. Ability to review, gather and interpret data, make decisions based on the data and document the information. Must have the ability to work independently and in close quarters with others and remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma or GED. A Valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness card required.LANGUAGE SKILLSMust have exceptional oral and written communication skills. A high level understanding of interpersonal skills to productively deal with business contacts and team members at all levels of the company. Possess a strong attention to detail. Have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of staff and Law Enforcement. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete reports, correspondence and communicate with Team Members, peers and Management.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and calculate figures and amounts.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a calm, professional manner. Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form. Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills are a must.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSMust be a minimum of 21 years of age. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours.
