Job Title: Processor (Warehouse Associate) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team on the 1st shift. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for processing orders from the packaging stations and preparing them for shipment to their correct destinations. This position offers an opportunity for growth and advancement within a dynamic warehouse environment. Responsibilities + Process orders from four packaging stations and prepare them for shipment. + Pick orders using a hand cart or hand jack. + Operate a cherry picker to pull materials and prepare them for shipping. + Hand-pick orders and push a cart to pick items on the floor. + Pack retail orders in boxes at the packaging station. + Prepare packed orders for shipment, including labeling and bills of lading. + Manually unload trailers and repalletize products at the lower dock. + Assist with replenishment and staging of skills for packaging processors. + Load and unload trailers using a forklift. Essential Skills + Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx Ship Manager Tools. + Minimum of 1 year of order selection experience. + Minimum of 1 year of packaging and label printing experience. + At least 2 years of warehouse experience. + Ability to lift up to 70 lbs frequently and perform various physical tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of the SAP system is a plus. + High school diploma or GED required. + Ability and experience operating a forklift. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow paperwork and work orders. + Effective communication skills in English. Work Environment The warehouse is not climate-controlled, experiencing typical warehouse temperatures. Racking is up to 30 feet high with multiple loading docks. The culture is laid-back, focused on long-term employment in warehousing. Equipment includes order/cherry pickers, swing reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts. The team is divided by shifts, with 20 people on the 1st shift and 5-10 on the 2nd shift. A professional warehouse appearance is required, with specific dress code guidelines. The 1st shift operates Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, while the 2nd shift operates from 3:30 pm to 12 am or 4:30 pm to 1 am. Training is conducted on the 1st shift for 3-6 weeks, with scheduled breaks during shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
