Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Job Purpose: Under the direction of the ServiceManager, the Mobile Service Technician supports fleets at customer sitesby completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements,diagnosing and correcting vehicle deficiencies, making appropriateadjustments and alignments, and maintaining appropriate records of work.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform all levels of maintenanceservices Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections anddiagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts. Keeps equipmentavailable for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules,installing component and part upgrades, controlling corrosion, andcompleting winterization procedures. Corrects vehicle deficiencies byremoving, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling,and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, orsystems. Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testingengine, safety, and combustion control standards. Maintains vehiclerecords by annotating services and repairs. Road test vehicles whennecessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are workingproperly.
