About the Role Primary travel will be Boston-based, 90% day trips in driving distance. Vehicle provided. 10% coverage of New England region requiring overnight travel. What You'll Do + Perform installation, repair, PM and IQ/OQ/PQ services on analytical instruments (e.g., Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu) at various customer locations + Diagnose and troubleshoot operational problems on the following lab equipment (and/or equipment of similar complexity): + LC MS the primary focus of this position + GC MS + Related peripherals, e.g., headspace & autosampler + Maintain relationship with customer + Complete service report on each service ticket completion + Train customers and other service representatives on maintenance tasks + Participate in the growth of the region and company + Identify business opportunities + Perform a variety of tasks in relation to FSG objectives What You'll Need + Service experience and knowledge of LC/MS - Triple Quad and TOF strongly preferred + Experience with GC, HPLC, Purge & Trap, TOC, & GC/MS desired + Bacheloru2019s degree in science (chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar) or equivalent lab experience + Knowledge of lab practices, standard concepts, and test procedures for analytical instruments + MS office skills required + Ability to lift 50 pounds, + A valid Driveru2019s License in good standing is mandatory + Ability to train others Why CBRE?
