About the Role: As a CBRE Union Apprentice Engineer specializing in electrical systems, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and building systems. This position falls under the Engineering and Technical Services job function, supporting preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on electrical infrastructure. Schedule: M-F 3:00 pm-11:30 pm What Youu2019ll Do u2022 Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, panels, and lighting. u2022 Support licensed electricians with tasks such as pulling wire, connecting circuits, and installing fixtures. u2022 Perform routine inspections to identify electrical hazards, faulty wiring, or malfunctioning components. u2022 Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and wiring. u2022 Maintain and repair electrical fixtures, switches, outlets, and breakers. u2022 Follow safety protocols and comply with electrical codes and regulations. u2022 Document work performed and assist with inventory of electrical materials. What Youu2019ll Need u2022 Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. u2022 High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program preferred. u2022 Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and materials. u2022 Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. u2022 Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor. u2022 Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from experienced electricians. u2022 Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE requirements. u2022 Any local or state-required apprentice registration or license (if applicable). In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required. Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Pay Disclaimer: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidateu2019s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $26.44/hr, and the maximum salary for this position is $28.88/hr. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience.
