Competitive pay plus a $4/hr shift differential for any hours worked after 7pm.$1500 Sign-on BonusNo on call or overnightsAAA Hudson Valley provides towing, jumpstarts, fuel delivery, lockouts and battery service to members needing emergency roadside assistance.We provide our services in Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia, and Greene Counties.The full-time candidate needed to: Provide roadside assistance for emergency towing and recovery services Operate a flatbed or a traditional wheel-lift vehicle and/or a battery service vehicle candidates will cross-train Keep tools, paperwork, receipts, and cash bag organized Maintain clean vehicle, inside and out Present a professional, courteous, and sympathetic demeanorRequirements: Flexible to work a schedule that includes evenings, days, weekends, and holidays Must be 21 years of age Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent Complete a successful pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana) and DOT physical A clean drivers license is required A non-CDL license is acceptable for either the service vehicle or the flatbed Must have a tow endorsement on your license Automotive knowledge is helpful Computer skills including using tablets/iPads and sending/receiving emails Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary Have a positive and enthusiastic demeanor with an emphasis on helping people in tough situations Able to tolerate the elements all year round Emphasis is always on safety in all situationsBenefits package offered: Medical Dental Vision Life insurance 401(k) program Paid vacation, sick and personal time A regular schedule and a competitive salary of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience Incentives for positive member feedbackShift: 7am - 3pm or 3pm - 11pmRequired license or certification: Clean NYS Drivers License Tow endorsement requiredRequired education: High school or equivalentBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insuranceLicense/Certification: Driver's License w/ tow endorsement (Required)Ability to Commute: Menands, NY 12204 (Required)Work Location: In person
