This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: work from 3/1/26 - 11/15/26.Drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors, ATVs, andself-propelled machinery to till soil, prepare fields, and plant crops;Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on farm vehicles, implements,and equipment; Set up and operate irrigation equipment, including layingpipes, maintaining ditches, and ensuring adequate water supply to crops;Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to crops using handsprayers and other equipment; Conduct regular crop inspections tomonitor growth, pest activity, and plant health; Plant seeds andseedlings using various planting techniques and equipment, includingseed drill sand planters; Cultivate crops through mechanical or manualmethods, including weeding and applying fertilizers; Drive and controlfarm equipment to irrigate, cultivate, and harvest crops, adjustingimplements as needed; Harvest crops using machinery or by hand, ensuringproper handling to maintain quality; Load and unload harvested cropsinto trucks or storage containers, maintaining organization andefficiency; Store and pack crops for transportation, preparing them formarket or storage facilities; Transport harvested crops to storagefacilities, operating trucks and conveyors as needed; Monitor grainmoisture levels and assist with grain handling, including loading andunloading grain bins; Clean and maintain storage areas and equipment,ensuring operational efficiency; Perform general farm labor tasks asneeded, including landscaping, clearing debris, and maintaining farmgrounds; Assist with the disposal of spoiled grain and manage graininventory as directed; Reportany machinery malfunctions or operational issues to supervisors.18-wheelers are used to transport grain on the farm and within 30 milesof the farm.Work schedules may vary, and employees may be assigned to rotatingshifts, including evening or weekend work as needed. Duties may changeduring the workday depending on crop and weather conditions or otherneeds.
