OurEmergencyroom sees about100,000 patientsa year.Our Imaging department consist of the following:X-ray 3 Routine Rooms & 2FluoroRooms (86,000 exams per year)CT 4 CTSiemensrooms (72,000 exams per year)MRI` 2 MRI units (1.5T Siemens & 3T GE) (10,000 exams per year)Ultrasound 3SiemensRooms (21,000 exams per year)Breast Health Center 4HologicDiag/Screening Rooms & 1 DEXA (23,000 per year)IR 1GERoom (2,500examsper year)Outpatient DiagnosticCenter CT,MRI, Mammography & X-ray(11,000 exams per year)Surgery (OR) 5 GE OEC C-ArmsCSU Pre and Post unit for patients receiving moderate sedation Responsibilities: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
