LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.Summary of Duties: Oversight of contractor safety operations on NYCT station rehabilitation projectsCandidate must be comfortableand motivatedto work the day shift, night shift and weekend shifts when necessary.Typical Hours of operation: 7am - 3:30pm.Conduct safety inspections at various project sites, develop and submit a report at the end of each inspection.Assist in developing and reviewing Health and Safety procedures and programs.Conduct safety related training.Provide compliance assistance to projects.Ensure all safety requirements of the Building Code and OSHA are being met.Minimum of 4 years’ experiencein project safety.Knowledge and experience working as safety personnel for NYC Transit projectsReliable transportation required for travel to various sites as required.Safety Training and Certifications required.CHST orCSP is required.OSHA 30 required.Extensive knowledge of relevant safety requirements including OSHA, NYC DOB, NYC DEP, DOT, local, state and federal safety regulations.Strong written and oral skills.We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.Competitive Total Compensation PackageEmployee- Only Stock Purchase PlanMentoring programsContinuing Education ProgramEmployee referral bonusVolunteer/Industry association opportunitiesOur Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration.
