Do you excel in navigating complex structural demands, fostering collaboration, and spearheading innovative solutions that support safer, smarter, and more resilient transportation networks?CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Bridge Project Manager to join our Bridge Team in Charleston, SC or Columbia, SC, where you will apply your technical insight, leadership, and strategic vision across a diverse portfolio of bridge and structural engineering projects. This is your opportunity to guide major initiatives, influence evolving design practices, and deliver enduring infrastructure that enhances mobility and connects people to opportunity.Manage all aspects of bridge project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships, while thoroughly understanding project risks and financial measuresServe as a “seller/doer,” developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for target market areasLead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the teamPrepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documentsTrack and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standardsPlay a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management, ensuring all client needs are metBachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum 15 years’ progressive engineering experience; minimum of 8 years of project management experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredExpert knowledge of engineering fundamentals and specialty areasAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft OfficeExperience delivering and winning work from SCDOTBridge design experience with management background requiredKnowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and Deltek Vision preferredDeep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsProven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and oversee project accounting processesExperience preparing proposals and project documentation as well as interpreting client contractsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredAbility to travel as neededLead transformative bridge projects that shape the future of mobility and infrastructureMentor and inspire talented teams dedicated to delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation solutionsCollaborate with industry experts and company leadership in a flexible work environmentCurious about the critical work our Bridge team delivers?
