We are committed to hiring the best and brightest in our industry.Danis is hiring Laborers for our Columbus region. As a Laborer, you’ll play a key role in keeping the jobsite moving. You’ll support skilled trades—including carpenters, cement masons, ironworkers, millwrights, and pipefitters—by handling a wide range of tasks that help projects stay on schedule and built right. This role is for someone who takes pride in quality work, works safely, shows up on time, and brings a strong work ethic every day.Benefits:Danis offers a competitive salary, merit increases, bonus, medical, dental and vision insurances, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k), profit sharing, boot vouchers, prescription safety glasses and more.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with concrete work, including pouring forms and using proper vibration techniquesLoad, move, unload, and stage materials for craft workersPerform fine grading using hand tools as neededCommunicate with equipment operators using proper hand signalsErect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and bracingPerform demolition work, strip forms, saw lumber, and install insulationMaintain a clean, organized work area and restock materialsHelp lift, position, and secure materials and work pieces during installationPerform general maintenance and cleaning tasksComplete other related tasks as directed by the Foreman or SuperintendentAdditional ExpectationsSupport onboarding or training of new team members when neededFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirementsContribute to a team-first, respectful jobsite environmentParticipate in jobsite meetings when requestedBe flexible and ready to help where needed to keep the project movingSkills & AbilitiesAbility to follow instructions and adapt to changing tasksComfortable performing hands-on, repetitive workFamiliar with basic construction tools, materials, and forming systemsUnderstands and uses proper hand signals for cranes and equipmentCommunicates clearly with coworkers and supervisorsManages time well and works productivelyWorks safely and is willing to learn and follow safety standardsReliable attendance and dependable transportation to report to job sites as scheduledEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrior construction or labor experience is helpful, but not requiredWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsWork is performed outdoors in all weather conditionsMust be able to climb ladders and scaffolding, balance at heights, and work on uneven surfacesRequires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for extended periodsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedlyVision must be adequate (with or without correction) to perform job duties safelyDanis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
