If the deadline is extended, we will update this job posting accordingly.Role Overview: What You’ll Be DoingIn this role,the Income Tax Managerwill oversee global tax compliance, reporting, and provisions. Assist with tax initiatives, tax planning strategies and work closely with accounting, finance, treasury, and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting and effective management of tax risk.Job Location: New York, NY or Chamblee, GAYour Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Oversee preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740Manage deferred tax calculations, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positionsCoordinate preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns and extensionsMonitor and analyze changes in tax laws and assess impacts to the company’s tax position and reportingSupport tax forecasting, effective tax rate analysis, and cash tax planningManage relationships with external auditors and tax advisorEnsure timely and accurate responses to tax authority notices and inquiriesMaintain and enhance internal controls over tax reporting and complianceDrive automation and technology improvements in tax provision and compliance processesMaintain comprehensive documentation supporting tax positions and conclusionsWhat You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification RequirementsWe’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do: 4-year College Degree in Accounting or equivalent, CPA Strongly Preferred.7 plus years’ experience in public company corporate taxesExperience with ASC 740 in a publicly traded companyExposure to international tax and cross-border structuring conceptsExperience implementing or improving tax provision and compliance softwareFamiliarity with ERP systems and tax data automation toolsThe Extras We Value (Preferred Requirements)While not mandatory, here are some additional things that would make you stand out:Big 4 experiencePhysical RequirementsWe want to make sure you’re fully equipped for success. The compensation for this role ranges from $104,000/Yr. - $124,000/Yr., depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table.
