At Open Sky we recognize the importance of person-centered mental health services.This position is for an Independent Licensed or License-Eligible Clinician (LICSW, LMHC preferred) within our Outpatient Behavioral Health team. The clinician provides high-quality, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment to individuals with complex behavioral health needs, including substance use disorders, justice involvement, and housing instability or homelessness.Clinical services are delivered through the Community Compass Program, a program which supports the re-entry of returning citizens who have been recently released from the DOC and other individuals who have a history of Justice System Involvement. Community Compass is community-driven and fosters active community involvement, and engagement. The program offers a safe, judgement free, resource rich environment that breaks down barriers to reintegration while providing access to essential, customized resources, and supports a mission to invest in each individual’s success. The scope of services includes outreach and engagement, food and nutrition assistance, educational and job placement services, housing assistance as well as healthcae and addiction treatment.This role is well suited for a clinician committed to equitable, person-centered care who thrives in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, and mission-driven environment.Other Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, trauma-focused treatments, etc.).Conduct comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.Deliver integrated treatment for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.Support clients navigating housing instability, homelessness, re-entry from incarceration, probation/parole involvement, and high-risk community environments.Provide support to individuals recently released from incarceration, including transition planning, re-entry stabilization, coordination with justice partners, and assisting clients in accessing community-based services and supports. Collaborate with internal and external partners, including case management, housing providers, medical care, recovery support, and justice-system contacts.Maintain accurate, timely documentation consistent with clinical, contractual, and regulatory standards.Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, case consultations, and training.Oversee the development and implementation of Safety Plans and Crisis Prevention and Response Plans. Participate in On-Call rotation and critical incident review process.Provides supervision, guidance, and professional development to graduate-level interns.Perform other duties as assigned.Independent licensure in Massachusetts: LICSW, LMHC, or license eligible clinician, preferred.Minimum 2-3 years clinical experience working with:Individuals with substance use disordersJustice-involved populationsIndividuals experiencing homelessness or housing instabilityExperience with harm-reduction approaches.Experience in community-based, and outpatient setting. Strong competency in evidence-based treatment models and integrated care for co-occurring disorders.Demonstrate skill in delivering trauma-informed and culturally person-centered care.Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community support and systems.Excellent clinical documentation and communication skills.Master’s Degree in Social Services field, valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record required. Ability to work effectively with collaterals and partner agencies such as the Department of Mental Health (DMH), and educational facilities.
