GCG Connectivity & Power Solutions is currently seeking anAccounts Receivable & Credit Specialist to join our Accounting & Finance team.In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting the financial health of the business by managing customer accounts, resolving payment issues, and driving timely collections. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that sits at the intersection of accounting, customer service, and sales collaboration. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in keeping accounts accurate and current, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact.While this role offers a remote work arrangement, we are seeking candidate in the Greater Philadelphia area to facilitate occasional in-office visits to our offices located in Collegeville, PA to allow for in-person collaboration with the Connectivity & Power Solutions accounting and finance team.What You’ll DoManage a portfolio of customer accounts, focusing on timely collections and delinquency reduction (DSO)Conduct collection calls and written correspondence in a goal-oriented, high-volume environmentProvide responsive customer service related to billing inquiries, short payments, disputes, and account discrepanciesMonitor and maintain assigned accounts, including adjustments, reconciliations, and small balance write-offsPartner closely with Sales and, when needed, senior leadership to accelerate the resolution of past-due accountsMaintain accurate and up-to-date account postings for checks, ACH, wire, and credit card paymentsResearch and resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepanciesProcess debit and credit memos as needed to ensure accurate account balancesRetrieve and process mail from the company PO Box and complete manual bank deposits as requiredManually process credit card payments through third-party systems when necessaryManage customer billing and payment activity within customer portalsDocument account activity clearly and consistently to support internal reporting and collaborationWhat You’ll BringMinimum of 2 years of accounts receivable and collections experienceAssociate degree in Accounting or related field preferredStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesSolid customer service and communication skills, including professional collections conversationsAbility to collaborate effectively with sales and internal partnersWorking knowledge of accounting and ERP/manufacturing systemsProficiency with basic financial calculations, including percentages, ratios, and reconciliationsComfortable working independently while contributing positively to a team environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryComprehensive health coverage with multiple plan options (CDHP and PPO)Company-paid life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, and supplemental insurance optionsGenerous time off including PTO, paid holidays, parental leave, and compassionate care leaveWellness and support programs including EAP resources, wellness incentives, and telehealthAdditional benefits such as dental and vision coverage, FSAs/HSAs with company contributions, pet insurance, legal services, and identity theft protectionA people-first culture that values collaboration, accountability, and long-term growthOur Use of AI in RecruitingAt GCG, we use AI technology to assist with our interviews by automating note-taking, allowing our hiring teams to focus fully on the conversation.
