Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking aSenior Schedulerto join our Transportation Sector. The Senior Scheduler is responsible for reviewing and analyzing contractor schedules and overseeing PCM’s schedule management activities. This includes developing what‑if analyses, maintaining schedules, and preparing weekly and monthly reports on schedule performance and progress. The position operates within the Project Controls Office in the Sacramento location.Provide schedule development, maintenance of schedule data and reporting for the client's schedulesIdentify, develop, and correlate program schedule activities with associated the client's design plansProvide detail for the client's schedule activities based on the client design plans to reflect the duration and the basis of the duration for construction of element activitiesUpdate schedule data and durations as necessary and as design progresses to identify the basis for construction of element durationsProvide periodic updates and documentation to the Program/Project Controls.Manage progress, schedule duration changes, and duration verification basisProvide schedule assumptions and general basis for schedule development. Identify key items which may not be included in structure schedules (such as utility relocations, environmental and or seasonal restrictions, or procurements)Perform review and analysis of current in-progress the client's schedules for correlation with future, planned CHSR construction schedules (current construction duration estimates vs. future planned construction duration estimates)Perform review and analysis of the client's schedules for reliability, risk identification, risk review, and risk assessmentsProvide recommendations for increased schedule reliabilityIdentify longest path and critical schedule itemsPerform review and reporting tasks as required under direction of the Program Schedule LeadAbility to develop detailed construction schedules from preliminary and/or conceptual plans, develop and document basis of schedule development. Identify and document associated schedule risks. Provide recognizable and understandable work activities and sequences. Meet required deadlines and deliverable dates. Document and communicate effectively with othersBachelor’s degree in construction management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experienceProgram and project schedule development and management experienceKnowledge of rail and roadway transportation projects and disciplinesScheduling and project controls experienceAbility to Identify and document associated schedule risks and provide recognizable and understandable work activities and sequencesAbility to meet required deadlines and deliverable datesProficiency and knowledge of computer Software applications including Primavera P6, Microsoft (MS) word, MS Excel, and MS OutlookPreferred Qualifications:Experience in developing detailed construction schedules from preliminary and/or conceptual plans, develop and document basis of schedule developmentKnowledge of structures, construction means, methods, staging, procurements, and disciplinesExperience in rail and rail systems construction, rail and roadway tunnel construction, rail and roadway bridge construction, retaining wall systems and other systems and structures associated with the operation of a railwaySalary Range: $130,000 to $241,000 yearlyLocation: Sacramento, CAWork Environment: OnsiteCordoba Corporation, Making a DifferenceCordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
