Job Title: Maintenance Technician Pay: $22-30 an hour Shift: 6am-2pm / 3pm occasionally. Monday to Friday. OT During the week, no weekends required. Location: Lakeland FL Job Description Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery, material-handling equipment, and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues. Diagnose equipment problems using visual inspection, performance indicators, and reports from operators. Interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work orders. Install, adjust, and replace components such as motors, bearings, pumps, valves, sensors, and seals. Verify proper operation and calibration of fabrication or processing machines. Maintain accurate service documentation, maintenance logs, and parts usage records. Coordinate with production personnel to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability. Essential Skills + Troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. + Experience in preventive maintenance and machine repair. + Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. + Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. + Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance. + Strong mechanical knowledge with proven troubleshooting skills. + Experience working on shop or plant equipment such as materialu2011handling units and fabrication machinery. + Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. + Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving ability.
