Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration: Type: Three -month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer Schedule: Monday u2013 Friday, 8:00AM u2013 5:00PM Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 an hour Specialty: Internal Medicine Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant: u00b7 Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patient for examination u00b7 Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner. u00b7 Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies. u00b7 Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms and sterilizes instruments. u00b7 Practices standard infection control precautions u00b7 Telephone and in-person screening limited to intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge u00b7 Provide data reporting and tracking on HEDIS Measures u00b7 Process referral authorization requests for patients Qualifications for the Medical Assistant: u00b7 Medical Assistant Certification u2013 Nationally Recognized u00b7 High school graduate or GED equivalent u00b7 Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills u00b7 1-2 years of customer service experience u00b7 Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding Why work for Adecco? u00b7 Weekly Pay u00b7 401(k) Plan u00b7 Skills Training u00b7 Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
