BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Winter Haven Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details: + Facility: Winter Haven Hospital + Location: Winter Haven, FL + Status: Pool, Hourly + Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM + Weekend Work: Every Other + On Call: No Responsibilities: + Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse + Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. + Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. + Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN. Requirements: + BLS (Basic Life Support) + High School or Equivalent + FL Driver's License + Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology + Preferred - CNA/PCT Preferred Experience: + 6 months - Psychology based experience Come join our wonderful team _This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
