Program Manager Job Description: The Program Manager is responsible for the successful management of delivery and operations, supporting one large or multiple smaller accounts within the Systems and Software Group. The Actalent Systems and Software Group supports programs involving Embedded Software, Full Stack Software, Hardware Engineering, and Test Automation. The Program Manager will work closely with our internal support functions to deliver a great customer experience while providing leadership and direction to our project teams and ensures that all projects meet their Cost, Quality and Timing requirements. This role requires maintaining and growing relationships with key customer stakeholders and Actalent center-based/onsite-managed resources to enhance project performance in support of customer business goals. Responsibilities include: u2022 Maintain regular communication with Actalent consultants working onsite at client locations, remote, or from Actalent Engineering Centers to monitor and manage career path, performance, training needs, and overall employee satisfaction u2022 Strategize on the collection of data and use of Metrics and KPIu2019s to track and report on project performance and value delivered to clients. u2022 Maintain regular communication with Actalent client managers to receive feedback on Actalent consultant performance, project status, and to report on budget and other metrics u2022 Collaborate with Actalent Business Development Managers to identify new business with Actalent client managers, and strategize with internal Actalent management on how those client needs will be solutioned. u2022 Qualify client product engineering needs, create job descriptions, communicate with Actalent Talent Acquisition on those requirements, discuss sourcing strategy, and conduct interviews. u2022 Strategize with Actalent SaS Sr. Manager on how to add value for the client through transitioning from onsite consultants to project-based engagements u2022 Act as the SME on the marketplace and technology trends of the Consumer Electronics and Advanced Technology industries u2022 Following Actalent Quality Management System processes u2022 Work with Actalent finance and invoicing groups to ensure that internal operations processes are followed. u2022 Support the Project Management Pod Leader in developing and establishing project management capabilities and processes for continuous improvement. Participate in PMO related activities at the organizational level and provide industry insights and subject matter expertise. Required Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical engineering u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience managing software or hardware product engineering programs u2022 Experience with engineering resource management u2022 Experience in an engineering role in the Consumer Electronics or Advanced Technology industries (ex: Laptops, Tablets, Mobile Devices, NPI, Semiconductors, Digital Transformation, Cloud Services) u2022 Experience with project budget tracking including involvement in cost and pricing estimates u2022 Ability to effectively present to large customer groups u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills u2022 Good organizational and time management skills u2022 Demonstrated leadership abilities with managing large, dispersed teams with diverse capabilities u2022 Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environments u2022 Ability to travel when needed, up to 30%. u2022 Highly proficient in PC applications - MS Office suite of tools Nice to have Qualifications: u2022 Experience managing program and/or account operations within engineering services industry u2022 Experience with gathering requirements from customers(internal or external) to determine options for program management strategy u2022 Experience managing consultant, contractor or contingent workforce u2022 PMP Certified; proven knowledge of project management methods required REFCR2023 #fte26 Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
