Contracts Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have expertise in contract management and procurement processes, with a focus on terms and conditions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless contract administration and procurement activities. Responsibilities: u2022 Issue and manage purchase orders while ensuring compliance with organizational terms and conditions. u2022 Review and negotiate contract terms to align with company standards and requirements. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to facilitate procurement processes and address contract-related needs. u2022 Communicate effectively with vendors to gather necessary information for purchase orders and contract negotiations. u2022 Provide guidance on terms and conditions to support contracting and procurement activities. u2022 Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to contracts and purchase orders. u2022 Ensure timely resolution of issues related to procurement and contract administration. u2022 Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreed-upon contractual obligations. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts. u2022 Strong knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes. u2022 Familiarity with terms and conditions specific to contracting and procurement. u2022 Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and vendors. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. u2022 Experience with vendor management and purchase order processing is preferred.
