Desktop Support Analyst

Description 100% onsite, Monday-Friday, in Gaylord, MN Robert Half has a client with a permanent opening on their desktop support team in their Gaylord, Minnesota location. This is a Contract to permanent position within the manufacturing industry, offering an exciting opportunity to provide vital IT support across both office and production environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities: u2022 Offer daily IT support to users in office and manufacturing settings, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. u2022 Standard Windows 10/11 and Office 365 environment for tier 1 & 2 support. u2022 Monitor, log, and resolve technical issues using the Service Management system. u2022 Analyze recurring problems, determine root causes, and implement effective long-term solutions. u2022 Provide detail-oriented and courteous customer support to both internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise endpoint devices to ensure operational efficiency. u2022 Conduct regular system maintenance and adhere to established IT policies and procedures. u2022 Stay adaptable to evolving priorities and emerging technologies in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Assist with creating and managing IT-related budgets to support organizational needs. u2022 Travel domestically up to 10% to provide onsite support when required. Requirements u2022 Associate degree in a technical field, relevant certifications, or equivalent experience. u2022 Minimum of 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. u2022 In-depth knowledge of PC hardware and Microsoft Windows operating systems. u2022 Proficiency with tools such as Active Directory, O365, and Windows 10. u2022 Familiarity with manufacturing technologies like label printers, handheld devices, and scanners. u2022 Understanding of networking, servers, databases, and enterprise systems. u2022 Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. u2022 Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
