Aircraft Structural Technician

Job Title: Structural Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Structural Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a startup setting and is eager to contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Responsibilities + Complete work order operations, quality buyoffs, and issue hardware. + Build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies. + Perform functional qualification testing and harness routing between kit assemblies. + Proficiently use various mechanical tools. + Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics or drawings. + Collaborate with engineers and leadership to develop operational improvements. + Adapt to rapidly changing roles and responsibilities. + Play a critical role in coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations. Essential Skills + Experience in a startup development environment. + Experience working in a flight development program. + Experience transitioning parts/assemblies from first article to production. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A&P license is preferred. + Ability to modify, repair, assemble, drill, and install aircraft components. + CAD/CAM experience preferred. + Basic shop knowledge of tools and equipment. + Previous systems development experience. + GSE build and operations experience. + Basic knowledge of GD&T and Microsoft Office. + Ability to take measurements using precision tools. + Experience with integration and assembly of large structural assemblies. + Knowledge of simple harnessing and connectorizing. + Experience supervising large lifts and rigging. + Experience with component-level builds and tests. + Ability to troubleshoot issues and redline changes for engineering. + Willingness to travel for test operations.
