Description We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to join our team. This is a contract to permanent opportunity within the food and food processing industry, offering a pathway to long-term employment with competitive benefits and growth potential. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our sales team and ensuring seamless operations in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide administrative support to sales representatives and managers to enhance their productivity. u2022 Process customer orders with accuracy and ensure prompt delivery. u2022 Collaborate with sales executives to create and implement effective sales strategies. u2022 Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and detail-focused manner. u2022 Prepare essential sales documents, including contracts, proposals, and quotes. u2022 Coordinate with the marketing team to develop impactful sales materials and campaigns. u2022 Assist in organizing and managing sales events, such as tradeshows and promotional activities. u2022 Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends that support sales objectives. u2022 Manage customer accounts in the system and ensure accurate record-keeping. u2022 Process customer sample requests and provide basic quality documents or certifications when needed. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in Configure Price Quote (CPQ) tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. u2022 Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions and their applications. u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members effectively. u2022 Experience in handling inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service. u2022 Ability to perform billing functions and maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for auditing and tracking tasks. u2022 Capable of multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Previous experience in sales support or a related administrative role is preferred.
