MultiCraft Maintenance Technician (days)

Manpower Engineering is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturer in Dickson, TN. One opening on a 12-hour day shift (7au20137p, 2-2-3 schedule). Note: Anyone placed on this shift would need to have flexibility to move to the 7pm to 7am shift in the future. Pay $35-$40/hour Contract role with possible consideration for perm hire Responsibilities include the repair and maintenance of all equipment and machinery, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, testing, and adjustments of plant systems, equipment, and machinery, as well as preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery. Promptly respond to all safety and emergency calls and perform all tasks requested by the supervisor, superintendent, or other management personnel. Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Background, Education): u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Knowledge and Abilities: u2022 Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic schematics, and ladder diagrams u2022 Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems u2022 Should be very strong on the electrical side with ability to test, troubleshoot and wire motors, VFDs, PLCs, troubleshoot shorts u2022 Knowledge of electrical machinery control, including the ability to interpret logic.
