Preu2011Construction Manager u2014 Full Time Wilton, CTAbout the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detailu2011oriented Preu2011Construction Manager to join our team fullu2011time in Wilton, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects, and will play a critical role in planning, estimating, and coordinating preu2011construction efforts to ensure seamless project execution. This position requires excellent technical knowledge, financial accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and key trade partners. Youu2019ll be responsible for leading earlyu2011phase project strategy while ensuring cost efficiency, constructability, and schedule alignment. Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & Cost Management + Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates. + Prepare quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, and equipment pricing. + Lead valueu2011engineering initiatives to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality. + Maintain historical cost data and benchmark information for future projects. Preu2011Construction Planning + Create preliminary project schedules, logistics plans, and phasing strategies. + Review drawings and specifications for constructability and completeness. + Identify scope gaps and ensure alignment between design intent and budget constraints. + Evaluate site conditions, risks, and existing conditions to support early-stage planning. Design Coordination + Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and owners during design development. + Provide recommendations to resolve design conflicts and optimize project feasibility. + Assist with permitting strategies and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Procurement & Subcontractor Management + Develop bid packages and manage the full bidding process. + Prequalify subcontractors and analyze proposals for accuracy and competitiveness. + Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners and suppliers. Client & Internal Team Collaboration + Present budgets, schedules, constructability reviews, and design recommendations to stakeholders. + Facilitate preu2011construction meetings with owners, designers, and internal teams. + Assemble comprehensive preu2011construction deliverables to ensure smooth transition to operations. + Support project managers during early construction phases as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred). + 5+ years of experience in estimating, preu2011construction, or project management. + Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and commercial building systems. + Proficiency with estimating software, Bluebeam, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office. + Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills. + Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities. Preferred Skills + Experience with clean room, pharmaceutical, highu2011end commercial, and semiconductor projects. + Proficiency with MS Project, Procore, and Sage. + Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and takeoffs. + PMP certification is a plus. + Experience managing projects ranging from $500Ku2013$20M (especially $3u20135M range). Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Brookfield, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
