Adecco is assisting a local client in Newark, DE in their search for an Equipment Maintenance Technician . This is a fully on-site role paying between $28.50 - $34/Hour for a contract of 18 months . If you match the qualification below, Apply now Role and Responsibilities: u2022 Troubleshoot and repair analog and electronically controlled equipment in SOFC Manufacturing u2022 Perform machine installations or modification per instructions u2022 Execute and track preventive maintenance activities u2022 Evaluate equipment and inform supervisor of issues or needed repairs u2022 Suggest improvements for tool set u2022 Help implement upgrades to machines u2022 Assist with manufacturing when required u2022 Support equipment testing and engineering group u2022 Ensure proper Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) compliance Skills and Experience: u2022 High School Diploma or GED equivalent required u2022 Technical certification or equivalent experience preferred u2022 3+ yearsu2019 experience in a manufacturing environment preferred u2022 Experience with Automated Equipment, PLC controls, Mechanical training preferred u2022 Reliable, shows initiative, responsible follow through and a willingness to help u2022 Strong troubleshooting skills required u2022 Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator u2022 Able to follow both written and verbal instructions u2022 Must have computer skills, minimum Microsoft office u2022 Demonstrated ability to use small hand and power tools, previous experience with P.C. based testing equipment is preferred u2022 Complete tasks within standard times with minimum supervision u2022 Maintain a clean and orderly work area u2022 Must be able to work in a fast pace manufacturing environment u2022 Must be flexible with changing shift or work schedule Physical Requirements: u2022 Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks u2022 Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time u2022 Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed u2022 Must have excellent hand-eye coordination u2022 Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
