In this role, you’ll manage onboarding, scheduling and coordination across departments while maintaining strong, in-person engagement with apprentices and building relationships with leaders across the organization. You’ll ensure enterprise and didactic requirements are met, coordinate and evaluate training experiences, conduct 90-day reviews and support accreditation efforts in partnership with CYCE. You’ll also play a key role in interviewing, onboarding and guiding apprentices through PTCB certification and registration. This position offers a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to drive results while helping develop the next generation of pharmacy technicians.A caregiver in this position worksMonday through Friday from 6:45am to 3:15pm with occasional weekends events.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Review, analyze,evaluateand assess the technical operations of these areas to ensureasafe and efficient workflow.Coordinate all activities withthe managementteam and act as a liaison between the managers and technicalcaregivers.Directly supervise the activities ofassigned caregivers.Ensureadequate staffingofareas.Review daily,monthlyand other periodic management reports tomonitorservice levels.Plan, develop and manage all policies and processes related to technical pharmacy operations.Determineshort- and long-term needs and goals,assistin the development of budgets for bothoperatingand capital needs and projectmanpowerand equipment needs.Maintain andfosterrelationships andserveas a resource for pharmacy personnel and affiliated areas (i.e.nursing, external vendors)regardingtechnical pharmacy operations.Conduct performance appraisals,initiatepromotions,counselcaregiversand process corrective action.Providethemanager withtimelyfeedbackregardingoperational issues to ensure efficient workflow.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science ora relatedfield.Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy isrequiredwithin 6months.Three years of experience in a healthcare or related setting. Anadditionalfour years of pharmacy-related experience, including leadership experience, may substitute the bachelor’s degree requirement.Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Master’s degree. This maysubstitutethe required experience.Pharmacy experience.Supervisory/management experience.Physical Requirements:Typical physical demands include ability to perform the job while standing, reaching, stretching, stooping, and sitting for prolonged times.Manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer, dispensing functions of the job.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds while walking, stooping, bending and reaching.Normal or corrected vision.Extensive sitting for prolonged periods of time.Ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone and in person.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $52,270.00Maximum Annual Salary: $79,727.50The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
