Were seeking a Sales Representative, Architectural Development who's ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry. ABOUT THE ROLE The Architectural Development Sales Rep is responsible for driving demand for our commercial roofing systems by developing and influencing project specifications with roofing consultants, architects, and other design professionals. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with key specifiers, identifying upcoming projects, and ensuring our products are positioned as the basis of design or approved equals. The Architectural Development Sales Rep will collaborate closely with the supporting role of specification development coordinator, as well as territory sales representatives, the internal engineering department, and contractors to convert specified projects into sales. WHAT YOUu2019LL ACCOMPLISH u25cf Identify, prioritize, and pursue specification opportunities with roofing consultants, architects, and other key influencers. u25cf Develop and maintain strong relationships with the design community to promote the companyu2019s roofing systems, assemblies, and warranties. u25cf Review construction project databases, bid boards, and specification platforms to identify new project opportunities. u25cf Create, modify, and assist with roofing system submittals, specifications, and details. u25cf Deliver technical presentations, lunch & learns, and continuing education sessions for design professionals. u25cf Coordinate with territory sales and technical teams to support contractors bidding specified projects. u25cf Track and report specification activity, project pipeline, and conversion rates in CRM. u25cf Stay current on industry standards, building codes, and competitive products that impact specification decisions. u25cf Participate in industry associations, consultant networks, and trade events to strengthen company visibility and relationships. WHAT WEu2019RE LOOKING FOR u25cf 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, building envelope, or construction materials (sales, technical, or specification-related). u25cf Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, assemblies, and installation practices necessary. u25cf Familiarity with specification writing processes. u25cf Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. u25cf Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. u25cf Proficiency with Google suite, Microsoft Office and CRM systems. u25cf Bacheloru2019s degree in architecture, construction management, business management, engineering, or related field preferred. Performance Metrics u25cf Number of new specifications written or influenced. u25cf Conversion rate of specified projects to awarded/bid jobs. u25cf Growth in relationships with targeted specifiers and consultants. u25cf Engagement activity (presentations, meetings, and project follow-ups).
