Let's explore how we can support your growth and help you take the next step in your career, while contributing to an exciting new chapter for Mott MacDonald in North America.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) projects for public and private clients local to Philadelphia and across the Mid-Atlantic region. This role combines technical leadership with project management, ensuring successful delivery from planning through construction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and execute projects involving green stormwater infrastructure with elements of water and wastewater including planning, design, and construction phasesLead multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating multiple assignments simultaneouslyDevelop and review project scope, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress against baselinesProvide technical leadership in GSI design (e.g., bioretention, bioswales, permeable pavements, tree trenches) and stormwater management strategiesMaintain strong client relationships and represent the company in stakeholder meetings and public outreachEnsure compliance with regional regulations, including MS4 permitting, stormwater ordinances, and climate resilience standardsCandidate SpecificationsEducation: B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (M.S. preferred)Experience: 8+ years in water, wastewater, and/or stormwater projects, with demonstrated GSI expertiseLicensure: Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within one yearProven ability to manage projects, including budgets, schedules, staff, and client interfaceStrong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS tools, and stormwater modelingExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports and deliver presentationsFamiliarity with green infrastructure best practices, climate adaptation strategies, and regulatory compliancePreferred SkillsKnowledge of MS4 compliance, Atlas 14 rainfall data, and emerging stormwater regulationsPMP certification or equivalent project management trainingBenefits & RewardAt Mott MacDonald, our employees have a stake and a voice in our business, providing them with a direct connection to our success through our personal and group performance bonuses.
