Hiring 20+ Shipyard Laborers 6 months of general labor experience to be considered Payrate- $20/HR - $25/HR Shift 1st and 2nd shifts Job Description Join a leading maritime engineering contractor specializing in systems engineering, shipboard modernization, and technical services across naval platforms. We urgently seek Marine Painters to support high-priority U.S. Navy corrosion mitigation and ship repair projects in San Diego. This immediate-start opportunity supports a large-scale Navy initiative with long-term impact on fleet readiness. Responsibilities + Assist Journeyman with everyday tasks + Utilize hand and power tools + Perform painting, touch-ups, and preservation on shipboard structures. + Conduct sanding, grinding, surface prepping, masking, chipping, and cleaning. + Assist technicians with coating application and material handling. + Work aboard ships, piers, dry docks, and industrial marine environments following strict safety protocols and NAVSEA standards. + Complete assignments on schedule in a high-tempo environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
