Orange Ave., Suite 786, Orlando, FL 32804 Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm + Provides supportive resources and education to patients and family members on treatment and side effects. + Teaches patients and their families about treatment expectations and procedures. Other duties as assigned. + Completes necessary patient forms such as FMLA, disability, and letters of medical necessity. + Assists the benefits team in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and infusion-related treatments. + Develops and implements individualized care plans for patients, coordinating various aspects of oncologic patient care. + Triages and treats cancer-related issues, including administering and monitoring chemotherapy treatments. + Inputs chemotherapy treatment orders as per the ordering physician and coordinates treatment appointments with the infusion center. + Monitors patient adherence to oral chemotherapy medications and all other medications ordered by the physician. + Consistently monitors and records patient progress, including responses to treatments and medications.
