Overview WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST (2026-24537): Bowhead is seeking Warehouse Specialists to join our team in support of the Warehouse Storage and Support Services contract located in Jacksonville, FL, at the Naval Air Station. The Warehouse Specialists are responsible for various warehouse duties in accordance with DoD logistics procedures, standard operating procedures, and any local applicable regulatory requirements. Responsibilities u2022 Verifies incoming items versus receiving documents and reports any discrepancies and damages u2022 Routes, stores, stocks, or palletizes materials to the correct storage locations and in accordance with prescribed storage methods u2022 Assists in taking inventory of all stored materials and re-routes as necessary u2022 Inspects stored materials while ensuring all damage and/or deterioration is reported appropriately u2022 Adhering to established company safety, personnel policies, SOPu2019s and assists with other duties as assigned u2022 May be called upon to provide support to the Warehouse Lead as needed u2022 Locates and packages materials for shipping as needed u2022 Operating vehicles, hand and forklift trucks in the normal course of operations Qualifications + A high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least two (2+) years warehouse inventory, record filing and packaging duties + Must possess a valid state Driveru2019s License and be able to maintain/obtain a forklift license + Any prior experience with government contracts and locations is helpful + Basic level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint + Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. + Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
