Weu2019re looking for a new Director of Finance and Accounting comfortable with balancing the books when it comes to managing the needs of owners, auditors and regulatory agencies while also monitoring and improving hotel profitability. Every day is different, but youu2019ll mostly be: u25cf Managing and coaching your team to ensure the right person is always on the right task u25cf Setting exceptional accounting practice standards and ensuring financial control procedures remain ethical and legal u25cf Maximising financial returns through financial analysis, data trends and market information u2013 while budgeting accordingly u25cf Enhancing the guest experience through improved payment options, inventory controls and financial dispute resolution u25cf Supervising a number of clerical accounting employees across a range of functions u2013 from Accounts Payable to Purchasing and Payroll. What We need from you: u25cf Bacheloru2019s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance u25cf 4-8 yearsu2019 experience in hotel accounting or auditing with at least one year in an Assistant Controller or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience u25cf Knowledge of accounting management duties e.g., negotiating hotel space and tenant leases, processing payroll, performing asset management duties, providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparing government reports, filing tax returns etc u25cf Professional accounting or finance designation or certification preferred u25cf Must speak local language(s) u25cf Other languages beneficial What We Offer The Salary Range for this role is $90,000 - 100,000. This position is bonus eligible.
