Job Description Summary: The ERP Systems Lead provides advanced technical leadership, analytics expertise, and systems consultation across HR, Financial, IT and operational business domains. This role supports the Workday application by designing, developing, analyzing, and optimizing system functionality, integrations, workflows, reporting, and analytics. The lead serves as a subject matter expert, works collaboratively with leaders and stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement through data-driven decision support, system evaluation, and strategic optimization of enterprise platforms. This lead will partner with third party consultants to deliver configuration of the HR modules within Workday. Responsibilities And Duties: Technical Leadership & Application Management (40%) Provides expert-level guidance on ERP systems, including configuration, integration, design, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting. Leads system analysis, design sessions, gap analysis, and architecture discussions. Manages backlog of enhancement work, partnering with stakeholders to prioritize and execute. Implements regulatory updates, patches, and system performance tuning. Manages a team of consultant SMEs Analytics, Reporting & Data Strategy (15%) Designs, develops, and maintains dashboards, scorecards, metrics, and analytics to support strategic decision-making. Performs data analysis, cleansing, validation, profiling, modeling, and transformation. Serves as the SME for HCM/ERP analytics and provides recommendations aligned with business strategy. Communicates complex analytical findings to business stakeholders in accessible and actionable formats. Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration (20%) Leads small-to-medium scale projects including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, gou2011live, and postu2011implementation support. Builds strong partnerships with internal business lines, technical teams, and cross-functional groups. Prepares project estimates and drives prioritization of enhancements and releases. Mentors junior team members and may lead functional or technical workstreams. Production Support & Issue Resolution (10%) Provides advanced support for ERP systems and integrations, serving as an escalation point for complex issues. Troubleshoots system defects, identifies root cause, and ensures timely resolution. Research, Development & Continuous Improvement (15%) Stays current on ERP and analytics technology through documentation, community forums, roadmap updates, and professional networking. Identifies process improvement opportunities and proposes innovative solutions. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Computer and Information Science Additional Job Description: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree OR Equivalent Experience Field of Study: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Analytics Field of Study: Related Field Years of experience: 5-10 years or progressive experience in ERP systems (Workday, UKG, ServiceNow) This is a hybrid position, with at least 2 days required in office. PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS + Familiarity with HR Terminology + Previous Workday experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE + Experience with Workday HR Modules including: HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and/or Payroll + Ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means. + Ability to support a diverse, unpredictable, challenging, and fast-paced work environment. + Ability to collaborate effectively with others. + Ability to coordinate the activities with internal and external stakeholders. + Ability to develop or recommend planning solutions to problems and situations for which no precedent exists. + Ability to function in a collaborative environment, seeking continuous consultation with other analysts and experts - both internal and external to the organizationu2014to leverage analytical and technical expertise. + Ability to tailor, with guidance, technical and planning information to a customeru2019s level of understanding. + Ability to assess and forecast manpower requirements to meet organizational objectives. + Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk). + Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses. + Knowledge of accepted organization planning systems. + Knowledge of software delivery methodologies such as Agile, and various phases of SDLC and familiarity with DevOps concepts that are critical to efficient operations. + Knowledge of key principles, and patterns applicable to the focus area. + Knowledge of information security concepts, facilitating technologies and methods. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Capable of relating compliance, technical and nontechnical information to varied audiences with impact. + Knowledge and able to strategic roadmap.
