This role offers you the chance to collaborate with a diverse array of departments while serving as a spokesperson in cross-functional initiatives. You will participate in all phases of the development process, advocate for agile practices, and contribute to a culture that values professional development, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations._ u2022 Lead departmental initiatives, coordinating resources and timelines to meet project goals and ensuring inflight technology solutions are effectively supported u2022 Collaborate closely with Product Owners for the Flight Attendant Experience Product to identify business objectives and develop vision, strategy, and roadmap u2022 Identify challenges and risks associated with project delivery and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively u2022 Assist the Manager in overseeing team operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of projects and initiatives u2022 Manage software vendor product evaluations and oversee the development of technical solutions u2022 Develop financial analysis and business cases to support project justifications u2022 Analyze feedback to identify insights that support project development and conduct research to define initiative scope and costs u2022 Communicate with key stakeholders, providing regular status updates on team progress and delivery concerns u2022 Coordinate efforts between multiple teams and vendors, both internal and remote, including support for technology projects that donu2019t require development u2022 Coach and counsel team members to promote compliance with company policies and foster professional growth u2022 Foster collaboration and keep team members engaged while maintaining a positive environment u2022 Participate in working groups and planning activities to define the team's future direction and address operational issues All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in business, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience/training u2022 4+ years of relevant experience in a related field u2022 Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of project management principles and tools (e.g., Asana, ADO, Aha) Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience u2022 Project Management Professional (PMP) certification u2022 Current inflight experience and understanding of working with a contract labor group is desirable u2022 Previous managerial or supervisory experience u2022 Knowledge of AA budgeting, policies, and procedures Skills, Licenses & Certifications u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Software and other relevant tools. u2022 Self-directed, confident, with a high level of initiative. u2022 Strong managerial skills, with the ability to mentor, mediate, and negotiate. u2022 Ability to create and maintain solid documentation. u2022 Detail-oriented with the ability to identify challenges, risks, and opportunities around technology project delivery. u2022 Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. u2022 Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams. u2022 Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays. u2022 Experience working with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment.
