This role ensures inventory accuracy, proper handling of product, and compliance with company processes while leading and supporting inventory team members. The Inventory Supervisor works closely with operations, warehouse leadership, and quality teams to maintain accurate inventory records and support efficient order fulfillment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support inventory control activities during 2nd shift operationsEnsure accurate inventory counts through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and adjustmentsMaintain inventory accuracy within the warehouse management system (WMS)Enforce proper inventory handling, storage, labeling, and FIFO/FEFO practices as applicableCoordinate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to minimize inventory errorsTrain, coach, and monitor inventory team members to ensure adherence to proceduresEnsure the safe operation of all material handling equipment and compliance with company health and safety programsPromote a culture of safety by reinforcing safety guidelines during daily team meetings and through ongoing observation and coachingMaintain warehouse security at the conclusion of the shift, including securing the facility and setting alarms as requiredMonitor productivity, accuracy, and compliance with safety, quality, and operational standardsPrepare reports related to inventory accuracy, adjustments, and trendsSupport physical inventories and audits as requiredEnsure compliance with company policies, food safety/quality standards, and OSHA requirementsAt times, perform work in cooler or freezer environments as required by operationsEscalate risks, shortages, or recurring issues to management with recommended solutionsOccasional weekends may be requiredPerform other related duties as assignedPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. as neededAbility to work in warehouse conditions, including ambient, cooler, and freezer environmentsKey CompetenciesInventory accuracy and controlLeadership and accountabilityOrganization and time managementCommunication and cross-functional collaborationContinuous improvement mindset
