Job Summary The Mesa Internship Program is a summer rotational program for current students seeking experience in the energy, mechanical, building, service, sustainability, sales, or project management fields. Mesa interns will u201crotateu201d across all job functions and present a final project at the end of the program while completing various tasks and support functions along the way. Interns will be responsible for providing support to the local branch and its service, operations, administrative, and sales teams. Tasks or support requested will include, but not be limited to, job walks or site visits to gather information related to equipment or projects. Will assist the sales team with preparing proposals for new and existing customers as well as following up with open proposals. Complete project delivery binders, support the maintenance contract renewal process and perform certain administrative tasks related to customer support and other tasks as assigned by Management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities u2022 Develop and or complete written scopes of work related to maintenance or service work being quoted. u2022 Attending internal and external client meetings with the team lead as requested. u2022 Support preparation of bid temps and proposals related to contracts and projects. u2022 Support the preparation of various documents, including schedules, work orders, and others. u2022 Communicate with sales account managers regarding renewals being addressed. u2022 Complete site visits to gather information required to serve our customers better. u2022 Communicate with vendors to gather costs for services needed to complete the quoted maintenance. u2022 Interact with Departments within Mesa as needed to complete assigned tasks. u2022 Prepare booking packages for work quoted and sold by CSR or as requested by management. u2022 Attending all maintenance sales training. u2022 Present new technology and enhanced PM services when presented with an opportunity. u2022 Report all findings, customer opinions, pictures, and results to company leadership. u2022 Maintain constant communication with the Branch, Service, or Salesperson being supported. u2022 The first week of onboarding will include classroom training in the Irvine Branch u2022 Attend and participate in sales, safety, and operational planning meetings. u2022 Build rapport with new and existing customers to maintain positive relationships and trust. u2022 Demonstrate a personal commitment to your growth and development as a Sales Professional, including attending product and sales training events, participating in all professional training provided by EMCOR/Mesa, etc. Qualifications u2022 A bacheloru2019s degree in business, engineering, or a related field will be conferred within 2 years. u2022 Experience in sales, project management, or customer service is preferred. u2022 Experience in the HVAC is preferred. u2022 Strong presentation skills preferred. u2022 Strong computer skills using MS Office required. u2022 Competitive nature + Reliable, self-driven, organized, articulate, and goal oriented. u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to communicate clearly, manage time effectively, multi-task, & prioritize. u2022 Ability to identify different customer personality types and adapt/respond accordingly. #Mesa #LI-Mesa #LI-HVACjobs #LI-Onsite Equal Opportunity Employer As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
