Associate VP of FP&A

Description We are looking for an experienced Associate Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role involves overseeing strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within a dynamic higher education or non-profit environment. This is a long-term contract position, offering a unique opportunity to lead impactful financial initiatives while collaborating closely with senior leadership. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead and manage comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals. u2022 Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and identify areas for improvement. u2022 Oversee the implementation and utilization of Workday Adaptive and Colleague systems to enhance financial reporting and analysis. u2022 Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on detailed financial analysis and insights. u2022 Manage large-scale financial projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints. u2022 Act as a key advisor to the VP of Finance, offering guidance on financial strategy and organizational priorities. u2022 Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices within the higher education or non-profit sector. u2022 Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the FP& A function. u2022 Monitor and evaluate financial performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting within higher education or non-profit organizations. u2022 Strong proficiency in Workday Adaptive and Colleague systems. u2022 Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale financial projects. u2022 Strategic thinking skills with the ability to provide actionable insights to senior leadership. u2022 Expertise in financial modeling and analysis. u2022 Familiarity with financial management tools such as Adaptive Insights and Workday Planning. u2022 Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. u2022 Leadership experience with a track record of driving organizational success.
