Senior CADD Operator

Reference #: 4970RK&K is seeking an experienced CADD Operator to support our water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for leading CAD production efforts, developing detailed construction drawings, and collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and project partners to deliver high-quality design solutions.This is a remote position for candidates located in a state where RK&K has an office.Essential FunctionsLead CAD production for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systemsPrepare detailed plan & profile drawings for gravity sewers, force mains, and water mainsDevelop drawings for pump stations, lift stations, and treatment facilitiesProduce site plans including grading, drainage, stormwater features, and utility connectionsInterpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and engineering calculationsCoordinate utility conflicts, easements, rights-of-way, and underground constraintsPerform QA/QC reviews, manage revisions, and support bid & construction phasesMentor junior CAD staff and collaborate with engineers, PMs, surveyors, and subconsultantsRequired Skills and ExperienceTwo (2) year technical degree or certification of completion in engineering technology, drafting, CAD Design or related OR 2 years of direct relevant experience and a High School Diploma can be substituted for the degree5 years CAD experience on water/wastewater infrastructure projectsAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3DSurfaces, alignments, profiles, and data referencesExperience with utility-focused CAD workflowsStrong understanding of pipelines, pump/lift stations, and treatment facilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesOther DutiesThis job description indicates the general nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities and other essential functions (as covered under ADA) expected.
