Bilingual Family Centered Support Specialist Candidates must speak Spanish and be able to translate session notes to English The Family Support Specialist role provides community-based therapeutic services to youth and families. With the supervision of the CBHI Manager and the support and guidance of a qualified Clinician, we aim to assist the youth and family in achieving the goals set forth in the treatment plan. Responsibilities: u2022 Participate in Care Planning Teams for identified youth and families u2022 Teach youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations. u2022 Improve patterns of interaction with youth & family to enhance problem-solving, limit-setting, safety planning, communication, and skill-building to strengthen the family unit. u2022 Assist Masteru2019s level Clinicians in implementing the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan. u2022 Monitor progress of the youth and family in conjunction with clinician. u2022 Provide skills training and demonstrate application of such to youth & family. u2022 Identify and utilize community resources with youth & family. u2022 Keep clinician and/or supervisor informed of progress on all cases. u2022 Adhere to recommendations from clinician and/or supervisor. u2022 Complete documentation according to schedule established by the clinic; remain compliant with documentation of visits. u2022 Maintain compliance using Electronic Health Record, including billing and documentation as per company procedures u2022 Adhere to company policies, codes of conduct, administrative directives, and therapy guidelines, and all office and administrative procedures. u2022 Adhere to provisions of M.G.L Chapter 119, Section 51A (Mandated Reporter); report all occurrences immediately to the clinic. Complete MENTORs crisis reporting protocol as required u2022 Maintain confidentiality in all clinical matters. Adhere to HIPAA standards and regulations u2022 Responsible for transporting persons served u2022 Other duties as required Qualifications: u2022 Associates or Bachelors degree in a human service field from an accredited university and (1) year of experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youth. u2022 Must be willing to work afternoons and early evenings. u2022 Must hold and maintain a valid driveru2019s license and own a reliable vehicle.
