Our mission is to serve the needs of our customers, today and tomorrow, with products and services that exceed expectations for performance and environmental responsibility.People • Customers • Trust Pay Rate: $21.29 per hourShift:1st Shift: (6:00am - 2:00 pm), (10-hour shift: 5am-3pm), (12-hour shift: 5am-5pm)2nd Shift: TBDCompetitive Benefits: Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the base rate for hours worked over 40 per weekEarned vacation after 90 days of employment11 paid prehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance.401(k) program with company matchGainshare programResponsibilities:Work collaboratively as part of a manufacturing team to support production goals, including improving productivity and reducing downtime and wasteAssist with various tasks across the plant floor as needed to support operationsFollow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out proceduresMaintain work areas and equipment in accordance with 5S StandardsPerform other duties as assignedMay be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hoursBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDMust be able to work assigned shifts—including 2nd shift (timeline TBD)—as well as overtime and weekends as needed for business operationsPrevious experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishReliable attendance and punctualityAuthorization to work in the United StatesAbility to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodationPreferred Qualifications:Prior workexperience in the corrugated industry or manufacturing environmentPrior machine operator experienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.Excellent communication skills.Thrive in a cross-functional team environment.Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.Strong verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSStarting salary for position: $21.29 per hour.Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.Paid Vacation: Two weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year. Paid Holidays.Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan.
